      Neon has been a trend we have been seeing for Spring 2013 and I think this trend is here to stay! Neon colors are great for summer, and can turn up any outfit, by adding a much needed pop of color. You don't have to go bold, you can add a pop of color with your handbag, or a simple bracelet. Neon colors, like bright yellows, limes, electric blue and hot pink have a versatile color pallet and go well together. Don't be afraid of adding a pop of color to your style this season.

Here is your basic typical neon color pallet. You can mix and match interchangeably between these colors; that's the beauty of neons! You can wear them together or as separates, they go well either way.

Neon Shoes? Yes please!

Neon Make Up! 

     Neon is not only for clothes and accessories, but neon make up too? As a make up artist I love to experiment with new colors and textures. I personally think a nice bright neon lip is awesome, and looks great with simple face make up and turn up with a bold lip completes the look. Bold make up can take your look from average to edgy. Its all about being expressive, and playing around with different colors, and finding what works for you.

     If your not comfortable with a bold neon lip, you can try adding a neon shade to your eye shadow like seen below on Rihanna. Her eye shadow is bright, without being over done. Or you can go full neon eye shadow like seen below on Nicki Minaj with her electric blue eye shadow and bold lashes. They both wear neon well.

First post! A little bit about me and my passions

I have always been a creative person. When I was younger I loved to paint, I enjoyed arts and crafts I even dabbled in some baking. After trying a little bit of everything, I realized just how much I liked makeup. Some of you may ask, why makeup? I like makeup and being a makeup artist because with every face that I paint it’s a new creation. My clients face is my canvas, and another opportunity to create something beautiful, and always different. Makeup is also never boring, because there are so many different products you can try and so many different colors and textures to choose from.

I first got interested in makeup a few years back. When I first started doing makeup on myself, I admit I was not very good at it, but I was determined to learn. I began watching YouTube gurus and slowly began learning. I became so interested in makeup that I decided to take a course and receive hands on training from experts. Soon enough I was amazed at how good I got at it. Many years of practice later I can say I am a professional, and although I enjoy doing makeup it is currently a hobby.

            Although I enjoy doing makeup I want to pursue a career in entrepreneurship. I want to own my own business one day, not sure in what, but I know I want it to be something I am deeply passionate about. If I can find a niche where my passions collide, I would be a very happy person.  But any way, this blog will be dedicated to things that I am passionate about; makeup, fashion and hair styling. Hopefully I can share my expertise with my readers, and hopefully help you to be passionate about things you want to accomplish.
